The CPI which records the prices of consumer goods and used as a measure of Inflation fell in euro zone at the fastest pace from December to January. The decrease in the domestic demand again seems like hampering the economic recovery. According to the Eurostat (European Union’s Official Statistic Agency), the annual Inflation in EURO area was .8% in January 2014, stable compared to December 2013 however monthly inflation was -1.1% in January 2014. The euro area is formed by nations which adopt EUR as their currency.
